Energy drinks have been invented to help us have more energy. They all have their own characteristics and some special ingredients. Every drink has a name that catches the attention of consumers.
For the first step, you have to find information about energy drinks. To help in your research there are 2 links that you can use.
To keep track of the information you found, fill section 1 in the activity sheets.

You have already found the information you need to create your drink. Now, you have to learn a bit more about advertisement.
You have to find information about how to catch the eyes of the consumers, how to make your ad attractive for them and how to create a catchy slogan.
Here are links to help you find these pieces of information.
To help you remember the most important ones, fill the section 2 of your activity sheets.

It is now time for you to invent your own drink!
Your drink must provide at least three benefict effects to consumers. You can use one from the information you found, but you have to invent two.
You also have to decide the name of your drink, its flavor and color. You should also decide if you have special ingredients or not. You must at least add two more characteristics.
Write a short paragraph of about 75 words that best describes your energy drink.
Write your paragraph in a Word Document that you will print at the end of the quest.

Step 1: Now that you have designed your energy drink. It is time to do a brainstorming for your ad. Use the information you found to make your ad attractive for the consumers.
In your brainstorming, do not forget to create a logo for your drink, to design your drink bottle and to create a catchy slogan.
To help you do this step, fill section 3 of the activity sheets.
Step 2: Do a draft of your ad in the rectangle under section 3.
You are almost at the end of your quest. Before doing the last step, you have to create your ad.
To do so, you have to use Microsoft Publisher to design it. If you have difficulty designing your bottle with Publisher, you can draw it on a sheet of paper and color it.
When you will have finished your ad, you will have to print it in color. After, you will be able to stick your bottle at the right place. So, when you design your ad do not forget to leave a space for it.
Have fun designing your ad!
It is now the last step of your quest. It consists of writing a paragraph of minimum 100 words.
In your paragraph, you have to give explanations of the choices you made to create your ad. For example, you have to explain why you chose a certain color, certain pictures, etc. To help you explain your choices you can use the information you found in step 2.
Write your paragraph in the same Word Document you created earlier. When you are done, print the whole document.
